Within the Finance Business Partner Department of Proximus, we are looking for a Finance Specialist for Entreprise Telco Services & Operations (ETO) & Opex

**Context**

With our team we manage a yearly Opex of 500 M€, a Capex of 225 M€ (SP3) and 3.300 FTE. ETO/Operations is at the heart of the customer interactions of Proximus, through field work inside and outside the customer premises, through customer service centers and Logistics. Operations serves as well the residential as the professional customers.

ETO/Operations plays an essential role in the roll-out of the Fiber network and other new technologies and is key in the continuous improvement of the digital customer experience

**Your role**

As member of the Finance Business Partner team for ETO Operations & Opex, you will be responsible together with your colleagues for the management of the ETO Opex and Capex (SP3). You report to the ETO Operations & Opex finance manager.

This specific job is about the financial management of the ETO/Field Operations divisions, responsible for the connection of all new customers of Proximus (residential, professional and wholesale) to our networks, as well as the physical interventions to support the existing customers. The Field operational divisions play an essential role in the roll-out of our fiber technology.

More in concreto, you will:

- be the finance business partner for the ETO/Field Operations divisions, which means you will be working closely together with these business teams on the Long term plan, target setting, monthly rolling forecast and analysis of the actuals.
- monitor the revenues, internal workforce cost and the outsourcing costs, as well as the operational drivers
- follow-up actively the efficiency savings program, in close collaboration with the business
- manage the Capex budget for Customer Connections and fiber migrations (170m€) and report monthly the financials and the operational drivers to the Customer connections Steerco.
- Be involved in the preparation of the contract negotiations with our external partners
- be close to the business and act as a real financial partner, while maintaining a critical attitude and daring to question business proposals.
- Work closely together with the other finance business partners and other financial departments (accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, procurement, treasury,)

**Your profile**

In order to manage all the above, we are looking for a colleague who:

- Has the ability to learn quickly and master (new) areas of the telco business
- Has good presentation skills (oral and writing);
- Is agile and can handle ambiguity
- is well organized and can work with tight deadlines;
- is result-oriented, has an analytical mind and can cope with stress;
- is a very good team player with excellent communication skills;
- is proactive, assertive and diplomatic.
- Has an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and ready to invest in other software tools (TM1, SAP, Microstrategy, Power BI,)

Regarding your education & experience, we prefer a university degree, supplemented with at least 5 years of experience in a financial domain (audit, controlling, financial analysis). You have a good knowledge of French, Dutch and English (oral and in writing)
