**Asset Sales Specialist**
As an Asset Sales Specialist, you will execute the sales activities of assets and the End of Lease process.
Asset Sales is a young and dynamic team within the Benelux organization.
In the last year Asset Sales made the transition from an Operations based department (known as Remarketing), to a commercial team, with commercial goals. Intensifying our collaboration with Sales teams and other important stakeholders, as Collections & Recovery and Operations is key in our focus to increase the added value of Asset Sales to DLL as a whole. With asset disposal and used equipment (sale and refinancing) as key activities, Circularity is at the basis of everything that we do.
Remarketing is what we do; Asset Sales is who we are
**Day to day**:
- You will be responsible for executing the repossession and sales activities (f.e. auctions, traders) of assets in case of regular expiration of lease-contract or early termination
- Proactively manage the inventory levels across the Benelux for both size and aging
- You ensure communication, coordination and reporting and conduct necessary meetings, as a precondition for effective and efficient repossession and remarketing.
- Explore remarketing opportunities (long and short term) in trader and professional end-user markets
- Identify potential buyers within national/international context
- Liaise with sales/account management, asset management, collections and recovery and financial partner on assets
- Arrange for the timely collection of restocking fees, excess usage, and damages to DLL’s equipment
- Execute appropriate documentation, invoicing and administration
- Determine, negotiate and organize logistics in order to ensure cost efficient and effective delivery of remarketed assets
- You explore the remarketing market, identify and build a remarketing network.
- Manage sale of equipment to lessee or other potential partners at the end of the lease contract or ensure extension of lease contracts with the lessee

**Essentials**:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Basic functional and technical understanding of the assets we finance.
- Empathetic and good at building relationships.
- Great verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch as English.
- French verbal and communication skills is a Pre.
