As a **Payments Consultant**, you’ll join our **paid 2-year NXTGen Traineeship**,**after which you will **integrate** our Projective consulting team.
From day one, you’ll receive in-depth training (both soft & hard skills), benefit from mentorship by experienced consultants, and gain hands-on client experience - all designed to fast-track your growth.

**What Will You Do?**:

- Advise clients on payment-related challenges and strategic opportunities
- Design and deliver payments strategies, operating models, and architecture
- Improve the capabilities of payment infrastructures, financial institutions, and key players across the value chain (payment service providers, fintechs, retailers)
- Manage stakeholders, define governance, plan projects, and assess risks
- Create impactful presentations and clear reports to communicate your insights

**What Do You Bring to the Table?**:

- A **higher education** **degree** in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field
- ** 1 to 3 years of experience**, ideally with exposure to payments
- Solid knowledge of or experience in the financial sector through work, internships, or other relevant engagements
- A strong interest in the **payments domain**, including trends, innovations, and market dynamics
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex challenges
- A team mindset and strong communication skills
- Fluent in **English**, and either **Dutch or French** (fluency required)
- Enthusiastic, self-starting, and ready to make your mark
- Pragmatic, positive and solution oriented mind-set
- Curious, proactive, and confident in sharing your perspective
