**Objectives of the job**
ACENSI is looking for a Mainframe Developer for one of its client of the insurance sector.
As a Mainframe developer, you will be responsible for the running and maintaining of business crucial processes of your client.
You daily tasks wills be:
- Run and maintain processes on the mainframe programs
- Communicate clearly to business on the status of the execution
- Develop atomisation for manual tasks
- Develop improvements on the programs based on the requirements of business
- Test the flows, and ensure the required performance
- Ensure best practices are used
**Your profile**
- Experience with Cobol is a must
- Mainframe is a must
- A mainframe editor, file transfer and scheduler is a must.
- Java is a plus
- Learns fast and is willing to learn different technologies.
- You speak English, French & Dutch
