We are looking to hire a Consultant to join our fast-growing Defence, Space & Aviation team.

**Job description**
- Monitor policy and media developments in the aerospace, defence, aviation and related sectors;
- Special focus on screening of the agenda of European decision-making bodies;
- Research and analyse industry topics and assess potential impact on clients’ business;
- Deliver written “client-ready” reports & briefings;
- Attend and report on external events;
- Participate and contribute to client meetings and internal account management meetings;
- Support business development and marketing strategy in support of the senior staff;
- Support the organisation of logos-BBE's flagship events: the European Defence and Security Conference and the European Space Conference.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in European Affairs or other related fields;
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant previous experience (e.g. EU Institutions, trade/industry associations, think tanks)
- Knowledge of key EU space, defence and aviation trends/files;
- Excellent knowledge of EU institutions and decision-making processes
- Excellent research skills, ability to synthesize information and extract key messages;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- English native speaker or equivalent level (other EU languages are a plus);
- Project management skills: well organised, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
- Team player, proactive and willing to take responsibilities;
- Intellectual curiosity, ability and will to “deep dive” into technical topics.
