Will you join our crew and help us shape the airport of tomorrow? Your destination To strengthen our Corporate Ventures Department, we are looking for an Innovation Lead (M/F/X). The Innovation Lead reports to the Head of Corporate Ventures. The Innovation Lead operates on a strategic, creative and change management level. He/She is responsible for driving the innovation agenda, often technologically driven, across the whole company and, by extension, within BAC’s ecosystem. In essence, the goal of the function is to ensure that the relevant, supported innovation initiatives are started and delivered (management of the BAC innovation funnel), in line with BAC’s strategic priorities and outside-in customer needs and this within a coordinated framework and way of working. Your flight instructions Innovation Funnel Management - Renew/Set up of a structure for Innovation Funnel Management with regard to ongoing and future opportunities - Responsible for the overall integrity and follow up of the Innovation Funnel - Determine and prioritise innovation opportunities based on company-wide strategic direction - Manage selected innovation projects across the BAC organisation, including aspects of project management, team coaching, management reporting Partner Management - Involve airport partners in the BAC-lead innovation initiatives to create synergies and define BAC’s place in the airport ecosystem - Manage PlugandPlay partnership: define a structured way of working, involve the right people, detect opportunities, be key point of contact - Involve, evaluate and manage other external innovation partners that provide added value - Look into opportunites for collaboration with non-airport players on innovation initiatives Change agent & Strategic Partner - Contribute to strategic direction and priorities set out by the Leadership Team using formal and informal channels to reach decisions and create relevant discussion - Influence change & present new processes tailored to innovation initiatives and requirements - Be a sparing partner and sounding board for Management Committee members on innovation topics - Foster and contribute to a culture of innovation, lead by example - Coach and motivate colleagues working on innovation projects, often in multidisciplinary teams - Willing to question current ways of working in an open and respectful way and present alternatives - Recognise trends and opportunities as well as risks and obstacles from on early stage onwards Your passport - Minimum of 8 years of experience experience across areas such as innovation, product development, project management, consulting, digital organization - Experience working in an environment undergoing organizational change - Work experience in the travel/aviation industry is a plus - Experience in setting and achieving objectives, determining priorities in complex environments, management reporting and communication, cross-departmental cooperation and innovation - proven track record working directly for/reporting to top management - You are fluent in English.
