IT Support Technician

AniCura is looking for an experienced IT helpdesk employee with a heart for animals.

The almost four million pets in Belgium, just like their owners, need good care and sometimes get sick. AniCura is a European group of high-quality veterinary practices and clinics that offer veterinary care to small pets. AniCura is active in 12 European countries, and we are now also expanding our group in Belgium as a startup. To support all our Belgian clinics, we are looking for a driven, experienced IT helpdesk employee with a heart for animals.
**THE ROLE**

As a member of the central support team, you will support all our clinics and practices in terms of IT. You are responsible for the IT infrastructure, IT Security and workplace management within our fast-growing group. You implement the necessary processes and systems and can count on ideas and support from your colleagues in other countries. In addition, you are ready as first-line IT support for the clinics and the central team. As an IT expert, you are also an important team member in system software and IT platform change projects.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Professional support on hardware and infrastructure (hardware, network, hosting, firewalls) within all our clinics: complete an inventory of the current situation in each clinic, and on this basis, in combination with the guidelines of the group, determine the standards and the implementation approach in terms of infrastructure, hardware, telephony...
- Ensure IT network security: set up and deploy firewalls, remote access, antivirus, within the organization.
- Key team member on major platform or software system change projects
- In charge of supplier management: selecting and manage IT suppliers/partners for AniCura Belgium.

**YOUR PROFILE**

You are a driven, hands-on operational IT helpdesk employee who enjoys being part of a startup team within a European high growth group. You enjoy a role where every day offers new challenges and a variety of tasks.
- Master's degree (or bachelor’s degree equivalent through experience) in IT
- 3 to 5years of Experience
- in IT
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of infrastructure, hardware, and security. Knowledge of GDPR
- Pragmatic, service-oriented attitude and driven to solve problems on your own, including telephony, Office365, exchange and networking
- Knowledge of VoIP is a plus
- Experience with software packages and their integration
- Self-starter with a sense of responsibility
- Well trilingual (NL + FR + ENG)
- Animal lover
