This role will provide legal support to the business unit, but primarily will provide legal focus on contract transactions, various corporate governance matters, compliance, trade law, VAT/tax and managing various requests from HQ team.

The role is to provide support on a broad range of legal & corporate governance matters and be a member of the team that ensures that legal and contractual risks are identified and mitigated in support of commercial activities. Your primary responsibilities will be to support contract review in EMEA region (focus on EU), including to draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and in accordance with internal standards, policies and procedures in a timely and efficient manner. In addition to supporting EMEA Contract review (50%), you will also support and coordinate various corporate governance / corporate compliance/ admin requests from the HQ. (50%). You have to be able to work under pressure and manage to work with/combine big pieces of information.

You will report to General Counsel, BDP International, with a dotted line to Corporate Counsel EMEA.

**The Main Tasks**:

- Coordinate various corporate governance requests from the HQ, provide timely input.
- Draft, negotiate, structure, implement, manage and monitor a wide variety of commercial agreements, and supporting documents that are in line with BDP and PSA policies and procedures, risk profile, risk mitigation measures and applicable law.
- Advise business partners of contractual rights and obligations, provide interpretation of terms and conditions, ensure contractual commitments comply with applicable laws and actively manage and mitigate risks relating thereto.
- Assist in supporting litigations/ dispute resolution, experience in VAT/ tax related claims /disputes would be a plus.

You will be based in Antwerp and work from home and our offices.
