- Job Description
As a **Cost Controller** at the Zeebrugge Hub, you will play a key role in monitoring financial performance, ensuring accurate budget execution, and supporting strategic decision-making through cost analysis and reporting. You will collaborate closely with finance and operational teams to align financial planning with business goals and drive cost-efficiency across operations.
- Key Responsibilities
- ** Cost Monitoring & Budget Control**:Oversee operational costs across the Zeebrugge Hub and ensure accurate tracking of both CAPEX and OPEX expenditures.
- ** Financial Reporting & Analysis**:Prepare and maintain detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to support financial transparency and performance tracking.
- ** Strategic Support**:Ensure accurate reporting of GNI-related financial data and contribute to strategic planning through data-driven insights.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Work closely with finance and operations teams to align budget planning with business objectives and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- ** Continuous Improvement**:Support initiatives aimed at improving cost-efficiency and financial processes across the hub.
- Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost control, financial analysis, or budget management.
- Solid understanding of CAPEX/OPEX processes and financial KPIs.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in English.
