Accounts Receivable Officer

Create invoices and reminders with all the necessary information/attachments for the customer
- Provide accurate invoicing data/documentation and verify that all services and costs are billed in the respective month to the client
- Upload the invoices into our financial software and prepare the necessary reconciliations
- Collaborate with different departments if information for the billing process is needed
- Responsible for the close of AR
- Create, maintain and update work instructions
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting, special projects, and other duties as required by the Finance Department
- Support the finance team with the Bank reconciliation
- Be the first contact for customers
**Requirements**:
**Education/Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is appreciated but not necessary, Finance, Marketing or an equivalent education/trainingAccounting or finance experience.
**General skills**
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of Finance data and information during interactions with staff at all levels
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently
- Ability to provide excellent service to both internal and external vendors and customers
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to prioritize tasks, stay focused, and take initiative
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and billing information
- Monitor and review customer payments
**Computer Skills**:
- Experience with financial software
- Experience with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
**Language Skills**:
Fluent in French. Business English.
