R&d Lab Assistant

**Mission**

Join our exciting journey of Specialty Fats research & business development projects As a valuable team member, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working closely with our dynamic R&D team.

Your Role:

- Take charge of administrative activities, providing essential support to the R&D Team.
- Lead small projects that are closely linked to our cutting-edge pilot and R&D initiatives.
- Share responsibility for the daily operational management of our pilot plant and assisting in larger ventures.

**Key Tasks**:
**R&D and Business Development Projects Support**:

- Take the lead in organizing and conducting pilot trials and samples, taking them from raw materials to finished products.
- Conduct detailed lab analysis and diligently follow product shelf life (pH, hardness, stability, colour, NMR, and more).
- Get ready to ship samples and provide invaluable assistance during visits from suppliers and universities.
- Co-Lead the charge in driving small projects closely tied to our pilot and R&D endeavours, with the guidance of our experienced R&D Manager.

**Administrative Activities**:

- Take charge of crucial administrative support for the R&D Team, including SAP Item creations (new Raw Materials creation support and Technical Data Sheet) and maintaining R&D databases (portfolio, recipe changes, raw materials).

Wo are we looking for?
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Food and/or Dietary Science and/or (Bio) Chemistry or related fields.
- You bring 3 years of hands-on experience in a lab environment, and it's even better if you have previously worked in the food industry.
- You are fluent in French and have a strong command of English (knowledge of Dutch is an advantage).
