**Job purpose**
- Accountable for the management of a Region and the growth and development of its volume, profitability, people and customers.
**Duties and responsibilities**
Responsible for:
- Prepare Annual Budget plans for review at operations meetings and business reviews as required by Group.
- Participate in the preparation of business plans for the Region demonstrating continual growth and improvement in line with corporate strategy.
- Achieve the primary objectives of safety, profitability, people and cash management as set out in the Business Plan to achieve shareholder value.
- To manage the regions overhead costs.
- Ensure the region delivers exceptional value to our customers.
- Implement organisational structures to deliver the business goals.
- Participate in the preparation of an HR Plan for the business encompassing recruitment, retention, and promotion plans.
- To manage risk in line with Group Policy.
- To ensure the Company’ Policies, Systems and procedures are fully implemented.
- Carry out and implement Performance Reviews in line with Group Policy.
- Review brand performance with customers and supply chain.
- Agree Customer Business Plans with Group Operations Director and orders target for projects with Group Operations and Group Business Director.
- Authorise preparation and submission of tenders in line with Company Policy.
- Build and develop robust customer relationships.
- Maintain regular contact with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring supply chain is developed and updated.
- To lead, inspire and motivate teams working in the region.
- Ensure core skills of the business are in line with business needs.
- Aggressively lead the cash collection process to ensure that ODD’s targets met on a consistent basis, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Agree with Group Operations Director limits in which final accounts, claims, settlements and the like can be made where the sum involved is material to profitability of a contract.
- Ensure all correspondence of an adversarial, contentious or litigious nature is brought to the attention of, and response agreed with, the Group Operations or Commercial Director.
- Ensure the appropriate formal contract documentation is obtained, reviewed and signed in line with Group policy.
- Actively participate monthly in project review meetings which will be led by the Group Business Director.
**Qualifications and experience**

- Construction related Degree
Ability and knowledge of:
- Knowledge of Construction method
- Knowledge of Procurement method
- Risk Management
- Health & Safety/Environmental leadership
- Business planning skills
- Strategic planning and implementation
- CRM Skills - customer knowledge
- HRM Resource development and utilisation
- Commercial/financial acumen
