Identifiant de la demande: 1839- Lieu de travail: Brussel, BE, 1000For our Regulatory Authorities & Public Affairs (RAPA) team Belux, we are looking for a: **Senior Advisor RAPA** **Mission** - RAPA (Regulatory Authorities & Public Affairs) Belux_ is responsible for devising the vision and strategy in respect of the regulatory and public affairs activities for Engie business units / companies active in Belgium. The RAPA team covers all activities of ENGIE companies in Belgium : Renewables, G/E supply, thermal power generation, nuclear, green mobility, portfolio management Etc._ - Activities among other include:_ - _Building a network with key decision-makers and stakeholders_ - _Influencing and upholding the interests of ENGIE Belux in a way that is constructive and transparent_ - _Working closely with the internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis in order to get a clear picture of their expectations, priorities and positions_ **Responsibilities** As a **Senior Advisor RAPA, **your responsibilities will cover in the first 2 years: - In coordination with European teams following European developments (e.g. Green deal & recovery plan) with the aim of estimating the impact on the organisation. - To disseminate and communicate the relevant regulatory information to all stakeholders concerned with a view to ensuring compliance with legislation. - To represent and advocate the interests and positions of ENGIE in Belgium with various stakeholders with regard to H2/CO2 Etc. The main stakeholders in this context are Febeg, different Ministerial Offices, regulator, associations (Voka/BECI/UWE), Waterstof industry cluster, import coalition, Fluxys, H2 council. To follow up on cases that have a direct or indirect impact on the company. To actively deliver input to the various forums, meetings, and conferences by way of written and verbal communications. - To support business development of various entities (BU Gen, BU GEMS, Tractebel,) of Engie in Belgium - To make available expertise and experience to colleagues in a transparent and collaborative spirit. - Support senior management in preparation of high level meetings (C-level, Ministers Etc) **Qualifications** - You hold a university degree, ( eg economics, legal, engineer,.. ) - You are bilingual Dutch / French and fluent in English **:mastery of the two national languages is a prerequisite for this position**: - You have a proven experience in the energy filed, and in public affairs/Regulatory affair role - You take a keen interest in the Belgian energy and political/regulatory world and the various players operating in these fields with a particular interest for Hydrogen - You have persuasive communication skills, a sense of diplomacy with a good dose of assertiveness - You are capable of writing up position papers whereby you properly underpin a thesis (= a position adopted by the company). - You have strong analytical but also summarising skills - You have strong networking skills (internally and externally), are able to maintain long-term relations and are keen to actively represent ENGIE Electrabel - Solution-oriented approach and positive mindset - Unité commerciale: T&G- Division: T&G Europe - Belgium- Entité légale: ELECTRABEL- Type de contrat: Durée indéterminée- Expérience professionnelle: Qualifié ( >3 expérience
