Join **TESCAN**, a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge electron microscopes, Micro CT, FIB SEM We are looking for a new team member for our **Global Service Technical Support (Level 3 Support)**, helping customers worldwide with installations, maintenance, and complex troubleshooting.

**What’s in store for you?**
- **Work directly at the source** - Be part of our BU office in Ghent, where our Micro CT are designed. You’ll work closely with both R&D and production teams (In Brno Czech Republic).
- **Travel & Installations** - New Micro CT? You’ll take the lead Your job will include installation, setup, calibration, and customer training— around the world.
- **3rd-Level Technical Support** - When field service engineers or service partners need expert assistance, you’ll be the go-to problem solver.
- **You enjoy sharing your knowledge**: you will be responsible for supporting customers and FSEs by providing remote or in-person training on our equipment.
- **Diagnostics & Repairs** - Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify faulty components, and collaborate with R&D on solutions.
- **Cutting-Edge Technology** - Work with high-precision mechanics, electronics, at the forefront of scientific research.

**What You Bring to the Table**:
**What you bring**:

- **Technical training** - Degree or experience in electrical/electrical engineering or mechatronics
- **Professional experience -** You already have at least 2 years' experience in customer support/diagnostics/repair or maintenance
- **Practical skills and a problem-solving mindset** - If you enjoy taking things apart, repairing them, and understanding how they work, this position is for you.
- **English communication skills** - You will be in contact with international internal and external customers.
- **Driver's license and willingness to travel** - Travel abroad is part of the job. This should represent 20 to 30% of the time.
- **Electrical certification** - If you do not have it or if it has expired, we will arrange training for you.
- **Autonomy and sense of responsibility** - We are looking for someone who takes initiative and carries out the tasks assigned to them.
- **Proactive**: You like to propose solutions and improve things.
- **Communicate/Explain/Share your knowledge**: You have strong adaptability and communication skills.

**Additional assets**:

- Experience with micro-tomography or digitization equipment.
- Knowledge of imaging techniques.
