The function of Lead Medical & Hospital is part of the Sales department and is responsible to develop the Perrigo brands in the following sectors: Hospitals, Service Flats, Rest and Nursing Houses and the Medical Detailing. In this role you will negotiate the Perrigo brands registration, conclude yearly agreements and close tenders with hospitals. You will also lead, coach and motivate a team of 8 Medical Representatives. You will report directly to the Head of Sales. The work location is Nazareth, Belgium (including the flexibility to work from home).

**Scope of the Role**:
Principal Responsibilities
As Lead Medical & Hospital you are responsible:
- to create and deploy winning strategies for the Hospitals, in line with Brand & Marketing strategy, to negotiate yearly agreements and creating strong business network throughout the hospital institution and mapping their decisional process. You handle as well Rest and Nursing houses turnover.
- Together with the team, to negotiate and close tenders and yearly agreements which include recommendation, prescription, registration on Hospital formulary and to use for target Perrigo Brands at different levels
- to cover and to lead the GP/SP approach (coverage, prescription ) in line with Brand & Marketing strategy. You manage, train and motivate our national Medical team of 8 representatives.
- to follow the social-demographic trends and the government rules in term of Public Health where the Health Care Professionals are providing their care (home health care, midwives, nurseries).
- to prospect all government or private institutions where cares are provided (jails, army, etc.).
- to manage yourself the price strategy in line with P&L target and to deploy it in contracts and tenders.
- to set up and be accountable for your budget, agreed with your Head of Sales. As part of the Sales organization, you actively participate to the internal processes such as budget follow-up, monthly and quarterly landing exercises, forecast, business team meetings
- to build strong cross-functional relationships with the different teams within the Sales department, i.e. Pharmacy field teams and Key accounts, as well as with other departments in the company, such as Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, CS&I, Finance and Legal.
**Experience Required**:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree, orientation business or medical sciences
- Minimum 5 years of Key Accounting experience in a relevant sales role.
- Passionate by Self Care
- Key Account Management experience in Pharmacy Self Care business, in Hospitals and Rest and Nursing homes businesses is a plus
- Experience on contract and tender negotiation is a plus
- Experience in RX approach towards HCP’s is a plus
- You have people management experience
- You have negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
- You have a hands-on, entrepreneurial spirit and a can-do attitude
- You are a team player, enjoying to work in close collaboration with your sales colleagues and cross functional with all Perrigo departments
- Creating a sense of urgency and accountability in delivering objectives to reach the full potential for your responsibilities
- You’re a natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Languages: fluent in Dutch, French and English.
