As a Trade Marketing Specialist supporting the Key Account Team and local brand managers, you will be trusted to coordinate, follow up, and implement Alcon brand and category strategies at our key customers from our location in Mechelen.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Collaborating with brand managers and the KA team to solve communication and implementation challenges.- Translating international tools and strategies for Alcon brands into local actionable assets and campaigns for key customers.- Coordinating key account needs with the Brand Manager Key Accounts to ensure timely support and tools.- Supporting and participating in Customer Partnership Teams, maintaining direct contact with counterparts at assigned accounts.- Managing the trade marketing budget in collaboration with KAMs and finance, including supplier management and the creation and follow-up of purchase orders and invoicing.
What You’ll Bring to Alcon:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.- Experience: A first experience in project management is a must; experience in a multinational matrix organization and working with external agencies is a plus.- Technical Skills: Intermediate level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.- Behaviors: Strong organizational and communication skills, proactive with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
