**2. Data Modeling**: Craft conceptual, logical, and physical data models that accurately represent data entities, relationships, and attributes.

**3. Database Design**: Design and implement optimized database schemas, tables, indexes, and structures to enhance data storage, retrieval, and performance.

**4. Data Integration**:Unify disparate data sources and systems into coherent and consistent data models and architectures.

**5. Data Governance**:Establish comprehensive data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, privacy, and security.

**6. Metadata Management**: Manage and maintain metadata repositories and dictionaries, cataloging data assets, definitions, and lineage.

**7. Data Security**: Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive and confidential data from unauthorized access and breaches.

**8. Data Migration and Transformation**:Plan and execute data migration and transformation initiatives across various platforms and environments.

**9. Performance Optimization**: Enhance data storage, retrieval, processing, and querying performance for timely and efficient data access.

**10. Collaboration**: Work with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and IT professionals to align data architecture with business and technical requirements.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency in database management systems (**e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL**) and data modeling tools (**e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner**).
- Strong understanding of **database design principles**, normalization techniques, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Expertise in **data integration techniques**, **ETL/ELT processes**, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (**e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka**) and cloud-based data services (**e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure SQL Database**).
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, regulatory compliance (**e.g., GDPR, HIPAA**), and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, scalable data solutions.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, Database Architect, or a similar role.
- Certification in data architecture, database management, or related areas is a plus.
