**About the company**:
Our client is helping to implement the digital transformation of one of the Belgian governmental organisations. Digitising processes and offering innovative solutions, they will always focus on the end user. The work done has a tangible impact on thousands of collaborators and millions of people.
**As Project Manager you will be part of Commercial Channels and Products-delivery organization. This domain encompasses the channels (front-ends) that our client uses for sales, after-sales and other services and its corresponding back-ends (Products). You will report to the business area lead of the domain.
- Key responsibilities
- Lead project delivery from beginning to end;
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders;
- Define/follow up on KPI that measure business value creation of the project deliverables
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents following the company’s standard;
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary as per defined process;
- Ensure that project meets its deliverables in agreed schedule, as per the scope, within stipulated budget and as per the quality standards;
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team lead and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;
- Ensures project or service scope and deliverables are defined and agreed with all relevant parties;
- Liaise with client and IT Teams on an ongoing basis;
- Diagnoses and evaluates potential risks and issues throughout the project and executes appropriate plans to mitigate them. Reports regularly to the Team Lead and Stakeholders with regard to risks,
- Be a key member of the delivery organisation

**Job Requirements**:

- Knowledge and Skills
- 10 + years relevant experience with project management
- Strong affinity with IT and its complexity
- Experience with delivering hard and software projects is a mandate
- Experience within public sector will be considered an asset
- Experience with e-commerce solutions will be considered an asset
- Experience within the public transport domain will be considered an asset
- Recognises and applies our core values: Professionalism, Respect, Entrepreneurship, Cooperation and Leadership
- Demonstrated “can do” work ethic coupled with effective time management and ability to overcome ambiguously or under-defined problems
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology and SAFe (Essentials) are considered an asset
- PM² and/or PMBOK knowledge are preferred. Prince2, qualifications are an asset; ITIL Certification. A Project Methodology Certification is a MUST.
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management is considered an asset.
- Can facilitate Steerco, project update meetings and guide resources.
- Possesses the ability to communicate, present and produce documentation on various levels for differing audiences
- C1 in Dutch and French and English.

**Job Offer**:
Initial Freelance contract for 1 year
