**About the company**:
Our client is helping to implement the digital transformation of one of the Belgian governmental organisations. Digitising processes and offering innovative solutions, they will always focus on the end user. The work done has a tangible impact on thousands of collaborators and millions of people.
**For this particular project you will report to the Head of Purchase, IT Contract & Vendor Management.

Key responsibilities
- Leads project delivery from beginning to end;
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders;
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents following the company’s standard;
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary as per defined process;
- Ensure that project meets its deliverables in agreed schedule, as per the scope, within stipulated budget and as per the quality standards;
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team lead and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;
- Ensures project or service scope and deliverables are defined and agreed with all relevant parties;
- Liaise with client and IT Teams on an ongoing basis;
- Diagnoses and evaluates potential risks and issues throughout the project and executes appropriate plans to mitigate them. Reports regularly to the Team Lead and Stakeholders with regard to risks,
- Be a key member of the overall Project Delivery Services Team

**Job Requirements**:

- Able to work in hybrid work regime: remotely and minimum 2 days/week on site.
- Minimum 15 years of working experience
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience with project management
- Working proficiency (C1) in Dutch, French and English
- Certification of ITIL, PMP, Prince2 and SCRUM Evaluation criteria
- Knowledge of public procurement law
- Experience within the Public Sector
- Experience working in the IT sector
- Experience with similar complex projects
- Experience in facilitating Steerco, project update meetings and guide resources

**Job Offer**:
Initial Freelance contract for 1 year
