We are looking for an HR Business Partner for Leuven, in a big company to work with a dynamic team in a high-tech company full of challenges and opportunities ahead**.**

**Your day-to-day**:

This role is perfect for you if you are looking for an all-around HR function in a high-tech company where we know each other by name. Under the wings of the HR Manager, you will become responsible for the day-to-day HR and Office operations.

We will split our time between our two offices in Leuven and Tienen.

**Your Responsibilities**:
1. Payroll Administration
- Draw up contracts
- Provide input (absences, bike days, family changes,) for timely and accurate payroll processing
- Communicate benefits information to employees and address inquiries.

2. Employee life cycle:

- Lead the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring.
- Liaise with external partners to access additional talent pools
- Ensure smooth integration of new employees.
- Ensure a smooth offboarding process, including exit interviews

3. Employee Engagement:

- Plan and execute engaging employee events and activities.
- Implement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.

4. Employee Relations:

- Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations and provide resolutions to employee issues.

5. Performance Management:

- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters.

6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Follow up on relevant KPIs, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Ad hoc reporting for management and Finance

7. Training and Development:

- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
- Provide input into the Federal Learning Account

8. HR Policies and Compliance:

- Ensure the development and adherence to HR policies and procedures.
- Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

9. Office Management:

- Oversee and enhance office operations to maintain an efficient and organized workplace.
- Manage office supplies and vendor relationships for optimal functionality.
- Contribute fresh ideas to improve administrative processes.

**About You**:

- Success in this role requires a solid foundation in Human Resources, typically around 5 years of experience. We appreciate diverse educational backgrounds and welcome individuals who exhibit the rigor and analytical skills typically associated with advanced education.
- You show strong verbal and written language skills in both **Dutch and English.** fundamental requirements.
- Your friends know you for your strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You thrive in autonomy, proactively seize opportunities, take initiative, and ask questions spontaneously.
- You are accustomed to working with Microsoft Office Suite, with particular proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
- You also have a quick aptitude for picking up on new technologies
- Your growth mindset inspires others to keep trying new things
