For our client active in the Belgian insurance sector, we are looking for a claims adjuster for the Corporate Claims department. A position that will offer you a varied vision of the corporate world and will confront you with the products of civil liability insurance.
**Beschrijving**
- Take charge of the complete management of certain more complex files according to the defined powers (e.g. international programs, with financial burden, including the constitution of the reserve, estimated as heavy) in order to appreciate the cover, the engaged responsibilities and the recourse to be exerted and to proceed to the evaluation and the compensation of the damage;
- Act as the point of contact internally and externally in the event of a difficult case in order to satisfy the client while controlling the burden on the organization;
- Coordinate the interaction with the various stakeholders and define the strategy for managing the case and vis-à-vis the stakeholders in order to settle the case in the best interests of the organization and/or the victim;
- Participate in meetings with internal (experts, inspectors, etc.) and external (medical consultants, lawyers, victims, brokers, etc.) parties, negotiate autonomously within the scope of his or her delegation and favour amicable settlements over legal proceedings in order to promote the best possible settlements in the shortest possible time;
- To set reserves with discretion while respecting the precise instructions in order to fix the organization on the technical loads;
- Maintain a professional relationship with all intervening parties and the victim and answer their questions in order to inform them about the processing of the file and proactively follow up on the file;
- Participate in projects to improve/optimize management tools in order to guarantee a quality service;
- Support and assist employees, share technical expertise and knowledge of the organization to enable them to best approach the tasks and missions assigned to them.
**Profile**
- Master's degree in law;
- Experience in a similar position is required (5 to 10 years of experience) or extensive experience at the bar;
- Be bilingual in Dutch and French;
- Have an interest in technical files in the field of liability insurance;
- Have good oral and written communication skills;
- Client oriented: able to quickly understand the client's needs;
- Organized and able to plan his/her work;
- Teamplayer and open-minded;
- Teamplay and open-mindedness; Being proactive and able to make decisions.
