The EU Representation in Brussels represents the Group's overall interests and those of its brands vis-à-vis the EU institutions and other relevant stakeholders in the regulatory and legislative process. It is an internal and external service provider for all questions or topics regarding issues and strategic advocacy with reference to the European Union. The Representation supports the Groups Way to Zero and closely follows the European Green Deal.

**Job profile and responsibilities**
- Following and analysing the development of the European policies, especially related to the European Green Deal.
- Developing and drafting industry positions in cooperation with the Group’s various technical and political departments.
- Building a strong network to EU institutions and relevant stakeholders and engaging regularly with key policymakers and government officials.
- Developing, coordinating and proactively implementing advocacy plans on industrial policy positions and the company’s transition.
- Representing the company in relevant industry associations and on events.
- Support developing regular social media content relating to government relations policy issues.

**Your profile**
- University degree in Political Science, Economics, Law or equivalent.
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in the European institutions, industry, associations or consultancies.
- High proficiency in German and English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the European Union and its institutions, processes and policies.
- Professional experience in the automotive or related industries is a plus; knowledge of the European Green Deal is desirable.
- Ability to moderate discussions and find compromises. Experience in shaping multi-stakeholder positions is a plus.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to maneuver through complex political situations.
