Your team and your responsibilities:
**Team description**

Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is responsible for:

- Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models
- Reflecting EU technology to Toyota vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and strong network with EU partners

Electronics Engineering Design Division is responsible for the concept proposal, design & installation of Body Electronics parts (Instrument cluster, switches, ), Multimedia parts (Radio, speakers, ) and Electronic power distribution (wire harness, fuse & relay box, ) for European vehicles from concept phase to serial production.

**Your responsibilities**
- Design and develop EE parts in order to achieve performance, quality and cost targets
- Investigate style feasibility and co-operate with Styling department in order to secure feasibility
- Creation and maintenance of hardware, software, mechanical and electrical part specifications
- Creation of 3D CAD model, installation and production drawing
- Co-operate with suppliers and Toyota stakeholders to secure production feasibility of parts
- Secure regulation compliance and collaborate with Homologation department
- Support plant production and quality engineers to solve the concerns raised during production trials or mass production
- Benchmark competitors’ products & propose ideas for product and cost improvement

Your Profile:

- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- You have a master in Mechatronics or Electromechanics
- You have very good people (soft) skills and can confidently discuss / negotiate with other stakeholders
- You have multiple experiences in preparing _electronic concept proposals_ and _development of Mechatronics parts_ in a professional environment
- You have displayed strong leadership in difficult situations and are resilient to perform under pressure when urgencies occur
- You have a strong quality mindset and think critically to find root causes
- You have overseen a project or multiple parts where:

- You took care of schedule and project management
- You were in charge of a team of engineers
- You/your team achieved complex targets such as performance, cost, mass, etc
- You have extended experience with following tools:

- CAD system such as Catia (Design and simulation)
- Design FMEA
- Modelisation-simulation tool such as Matlab
- Programming language such as Python
- CAN Bus simulation tool such as CANoe
- You are passionate about the automotive sector and have a genuine interest in industrial engineering
- You are able to travel for business on occasional basis and are flexible for urgent travel when required
