Analyst Transport Operations** **Position overview** Regional diverse role in an international dynamic FMCG environment with a focus on managing transport operations to ensure agile, reliable, and cost-efficient supply of local Affiliates in EMEA region from Manufacturing Sites and Regional Hubs. The focus for this role will be the close collaboration with different Supply Chain functions and partnership with external transport and logistics providers to strive for efficient, reliable, innovative, and sustainable day to day inbound operations aimed at excellent Customer experience **Tasks & Responsibilities**: - Manage relationships with transport and logistics service providers via metrics to improve reliability, reduce Lead-times, drive overall performance and agility, including business continuity set ups. - Drive Supplier enabled innovation and Sustainability: identify, assess, analyze, and implement innovation projects to deliver cost savings, improve efficiency and CO2 footprint - Proactively surfaces and resolves key issues with a sense of urgency, support agile operations in crisis management, help develop and execute business continuity plans - Support E2E Supply Chain projects from Inbound transportation perspective and support Logistics Procurement in tender preparation, execution, and implementation **Qualifications** - Minimum 3 years in end-to-end Supply chain related disciplines, good understanding of order-to-cash process - Subject Matter Expertise across core Transportation, Planning and Carrier management, knowledge of import / export processes and Transportation management systems - Experience in managing complex operations across EMEA, working in a regional function and matrix organization. Ability to provide leadership in complex and challenging situations. High degree of independent judgement & decision making - Ability to drive continuous improvement (LEAN certification is desired) and innovation in Transportation management with an end-to-end view.
