Manager, Global Transport Strategy

He/ She will be accountable for the strategic orchestration of the data-analytics, visualization implementation and ongoing product enhancements in collaboration with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, business analysts, and testers. They will work with key cross-functional partners within Plan, Deliver and Procurement to enable performance drivers across the segments.

This position will partner closely with cross functional partners and serves as an internal consultant to business leaders. This position plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results.
**Responsibilities include**:

- Transform data-analysis into actionable insights with tangible outcomes. Predict trends facilitating the process of long-term planning and facilitating the monitoring and controls to prevent issues and increase transport performance.
- Determine optimal analytical approaches through appropriate data sources.
- Partner with Transport Ops to conduct objective analyses that uncover findings and insights across multiple data sets, to enable organizational decision making and action.
- Serve as focal point for integrating insights and analytics across the Insights & Strategy team (forecasting, business intelligence, and integrated analytics) for the segments and translating into business impact.
- Ensure seamless integration of analytics from both segment as well as regional level across key data sources
- Champion the development and implementation of analytical approaches and methods that are innovative and examples of best practices.
- Act with speed, agility, and accountability, while demonstrating the leadership to ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects.
- Leverage and manage external partners to support internal efforts, where appropriate.
- Foster strong learning agility, elevating analytical skills to adopt to new techniques/technology.
- Take personal accountability for making Credo-based decisions and fostering a Credo-based culture.

**Qualifications**
Required:

- 8+ years of working experience,
- Proven track record in one or more of the following areas: Master data governance & architecture, Business processes technology & governance, Machine Learning and AI, Digital Insights
- Strong Project/Program Management Skills.
- Strong data collection and analytical skills with a consistent awareness to accuracy and attention to detail
- Track-record of consolidating data from diverse sources, analytics, modeling, and data visualization of analytic findings;
- Ability to create executive and operational views to monitor KPI & SLA compliance, data quality trends.
- ERP packages (TMS, JDE, SAP)
- Highly experienced with BI and Data-Automation/Data Science tools, like Power BI / Tableau / Google

Preferred:

- 3+ years with focus on Supply-Chain Management and/or Data Management and/or Data-Analytics/Science;
- Agile/DevOps Expertise is considered a plus.
- Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills; must be able to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize and work under pressure.
- Knowledgeable of Transportation tools
- Strong business acumen with Experience in analyzing large structured/unstructured datasets and enabling smarter data discovery for self-service culture of analytics and innovation A
- Looker Python, JIRA, X-Ray
- Strong catalyst agent with a positive can-do mentality. Team player, Strategic Innovator and Business Process Steward with high degree of intellectual curiosity
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences is required.
- Background in deploying data-analytics products to SC operations functions is an important plus.
