Manager, Resource Decision Support

Janssen Research & Development, LLC is recruiting for a Manager Resource Decision Support, located in Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; Chesterbrook, PA; or Beerse, Belgium.

This Manager Resource Decision Support role supports R&D senior leadership by delivering business insights related to cross functional demand forecasting to drive optimal sourcing, new asset integration, and Therapeutic Area portfolio decisions. Working closely with PMO TALs/PMLs, TA Finance, and Capacity Management, this position will develop and implement new processes, analytics, and visualizations to support the Resource Optimization vision.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required to translate sophisticated technical approaches to simple and clear recommendations for decision making. A clear understanding of the business environment with strong organizational awareness will also be important for success.

Critical thinking and a strong ability to network effectively across organizational lines to drive strategy forward is needed for success.

***:**Responsibilities**:

- Foster a strong team culture and highly collaborative environment
- Help shape new service model and deliverables for this new Resource Optimization department
- Partner with other PMO leaders, as needed, to develop and implement new analytics and visualizations
- Build and maintain forecasting models to support TA staff planning, as needed
- Implement process and analytics needed to realize Global Development outsourcing strategy
- Lead consolidated reporting of cross functional insights across all PRP departments including forecasting model changes, portfolio change, function/team level risks, supply/Flex analytics, and CRO/vendor key messages
- Assess customer needs and develop analytics to support resource/cost assessment of L&A opportunities
- Build and deliver streamlined and impactful presentations of findings to internal and external customers for decision making; Communicate generated insight and recommended business actions to customers in an easily digestible fashion
- Engage key customers in a business partner capacity to integrate the value of predictive analytics into the fabric of decision making
- Work with other business partners (Finance, Business Operations, IT, etc.) to provide coordinated, end to end, solutions to emerging business needs

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- A minimum of a B.S degree is required; advanced degrees are a plus

**Experience and Skills**:
Required:

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required
- Proven high learning agility and problem-solving capabilities required
- Proven track record of collaboration across geographies and functions is required
- Innovative thinking and willingness to experiment in the pursuit of efficient, data driven, decision making is required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence required

Preferred:

- Project and/or Portfolio management experience preferred
- Drug development experience preferred
- Knowledge of Planisware, Tableau, and MS tool suite is a plus
