**Description**
As internal controller, you ensure that Management is timely and correctly informed on the status of the P&L and perform the internal accounting for our business while also ensuring that the right focus for our business is provided on data quality and data management.
You are responsible for the internal controllership and you will at the same time lead our recently created focus on data quality and data management:
- Data warehouse creation to rationalize and streamline our current reporting
- Monitoring of market and regulatory developments in the data management space
- Functional analysis of client requests
- Make and present yearly budget to the management team
- Regular (monthly) tracking of performance vis-à-vis budget and forecast
- Establish long term (5 year) business plans
- Perform the monthly accounting and close of our books for Stater Belgium
- Prepare the yearly accounts and act as point of contact with external auditors
- Prepare the yearly financial declaration and the VAT reporting to the authorities
**Profile**
You are an energetic, proactive and might have experience as a controller from previous jobs. You are analytical with a critical view on existing controls and data quality. You are someone who can simplify and make more efficient existing processes and tasks, and you thrive in an environment where the key words are teamwork, integrity, professionalism and respect.
- at least bachelor or master in accounting or Business Administration
- Data quality management is a plus
- some experience as an internal controller for a similar type company is a plus
- Fluent in French and Flemish. Knowledge of English is an advantage.
- experience in Financial Services is an advantage;
- experience in working together and participating in a team
