Team Lead

**Your challenge**:
As a Team Lead you are responsible for the way of working, planning, and delivery of a cross-functional team that takes ownership of a part of the TrendMiner platform. You will work with the Team and act as a spokesperson for your team within the TrendMiner organization. You understand what agile means (and what it does not mean) and can help a team figure out what that means for them to deliver software efficiently and find happiness in their daily operations.

**What you will do**:

- You report directly to our CTO (Chief Technical Officer)
- You are accountable for all planning aspects of the team and for the delivery of that team
- You act as the first point of contact for all questions regarding the progress of the product landscape under your care
- You define and manage the agile way of working together to help the team deliver. For example, by removing impediments, getting timely decisions, managing risks
- Inspire trust in your team and in the stakeholders of the product landscape under your care
- Lead and motivate team members as well as help them develop their individual talents
- You should be a living embodiment of TrendMiner and Software AG values within the team
- You ensure your team delivers sound technical solutions that meet both the functional as well as the non-functional requirements
- Make sure that the projects in your team have a sharp vision and technical roadmap
- Create and control the architecture between different projects under the team’s control
- Take the lead in the integration between different projects in your team
- Ensure that domain knowledge is documented and shared with the team and others

**What you bring along**:

- Minimum 2 years leadership experience within a software development environment
- You come from a technical background. We want you to demonstrate affinity and a real passion for software development
- People skills come naturally to you, and you are a motivated team player
- Effective communication skills. This means talking, writing, and listening (not necessarily in that order)
- You think in terms of solutions, never in terms of problems
- You are agile, proactive, flexible and you have a hands-on personality
- Fluent in English
- Able to work autonomously
