**IT-BUSINESS SOLUTIONS EXPERT**

Vlerick is a school, but it is run as a company, aligned with the high standards we foster in our different programmes. We are looking for a driven **IT-Business Solutions Expert aka. Domain Gatekeeper **to join our IT team.
**Your mission**
- Be responsible for the technical implementation of projects and changes in one or more Business-IT solution domains (e.g., Student Information System (SIS) and Education Technology (EdTech)).
- Translate their business requirements into functional and technical specifications, in close cooperation with our external IT partners.
- Prioritize, support, and guide them through the IT change processes.
- Provide the necessary documentation and prepare the handover to the support team.
- Take on the role of IT specialist and technical project lead in the context of Business/IT projects:
- Be responsible for the coordination and follow up of the internal and external IT activities and quality assurance.

- Have a min of 5 years of relevant experience, incl. working with IT-Business Solutions.
- Have a strong customer and result oriented mindset.
- Are familiar with the rollout/implementation/usage of IT-Business solutions, preferably SIS and EdTech solutions.
- Like working at the intersection of technology and business.
- Are passionate about data and data quality.
- Have excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Are a team player who likes receiving responsibility for multiple IT solutions.
- Are looking forward to working on our Ghent, Brussels, or Leuven campus in combination with your home office. You are willing to commute to Ghent on a regular basis.
