The Commercial Manager Belgium will represent the full suite of Fugro's services and deliver the volume of opportunities to meet Belgium profitable growth plan. The role is responsible for client facing efforts in Belgium (business development) and commercial/proposal preparation with support of the relevant departments. Improve key success factors including winning profitable work, key account management and customer satisfaction, commercialization of innovative technologies, intelligence and visibility in the market.

Job Summary- Grow profitably and develop Belgian activities and client base with a focus on large projects- Align, influence and assist Client facing staff with the development of work winning strategies into the delivery of successful proposals- Identify new areas of opportunity with existing clients- Maintain a key account strategy, build long term trust relationship with Clients and move Fugro up the value chain- Support business development strategy and conduct client visits, attend industry related trade shows- Track client feedback information and ensure commitments to clients are met- Record interactions with clients and distribute relevant client or opportunity information internally- Use smart pricing techniques during client visits and presentations, actively promote Fugro innovative solution- Work closely with internal staff on the development of proposals, and the regional Commercial and Operation excellence team to improve Fugro processes- Express benefits vs features during all client-facing interactions

Job Requirements- Fluent knowledge of Dutch - French and English- Master of Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geology.- Minimum 5 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering.- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience or exceptional working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, techniques, managing (developing and maintaining) strong client relationships and strategies is required- Knowledge of CRM tools like Avalon, Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce, PowerBI or similar- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills- Ability to plan, organize, and function effectively in a dynamic environment, addressing multiple demands of production, clients, and affiliates- Strong negotiation skills
