Job Objective
Online Sales: Responsible for the conception, presentation and optimisation of the product and service offers on the digital B2C platforms (web, mobile, chat, social media etc.) of the Lufthansa Group (LH, LX, OS, SN), taking into account the local requirements and special features in the more than 100 global markets. The central focus of all measures is to achieve the budget targets for LHG's largest single sales channel - online self-sales. In addition to geographical sales responsibility, AD/SD-O is also responsible for the optimisation and further development of core disciplines in the area of digital commerce: Ancillary Sales Optimisation, Sales Conversion Optimisation, Shelf Optimisation, Content Management.
Key result area's
- Optimize the revenue generation, conversion rate and responsibility for competitive positioning in all area markets.
- Monitoring of the sales performance of LHG's own digital sales platforms (web, mobile, etc.) in all markets of the area and derivation of appropriate measures in close cooperation with the sister departments 'User Experience' and 'Analytics' and other commercial functions
- Optimization and continuous improvement of the performance of the Group platforms, with a focus on offer presentation involving the LH Group and joint venture partners as well as content strategies and processes and search engine optimization.
- Stakeholder management to ensure high quality market performance and target achievement.
- Contributing digital sales expertise to overarching digital projects
- Collaboration on projects of the AD/SD department, especially regarding the optimization of own tools, multivariate tests for conversion optimization as well as further developments within the content management systems and processes
- Advising central and local sales and revenue management areas on all online sales issues & communicate performance results to management and teams.
- Permanent local market and competition observation with regard to business models and service offerings via research and the development of a local network (via participation in regional conferences)
- Steering of the content management support provider and coordination with translation agencies to ensure correct and consistent presentation of editorial content and implementation of sales measures.
Required profile
- Master degree with e.g. Business, Economics or Marketing background, or equivalent by experience
- Experience in Digital, Revenue Management or Sales, preferably in an international environment
- Experience in UX, analytics, content management or digital sales is a plus
- Professional experience with IT tools for digital commerce
- Analytical skills and familiarity with reporting tools
- Sales talent
- Persuasiveness, negotiating skills & cost/benefit awareness
- At ease in the LH world; having already worked with and built a first network is an asset
- Intercultural competence & communication skills
- Creativity, flexibility & problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, French and/or Dutch, both verbally and written
- A strong self-driven and getting-things-done attitude with the ability to prioritize work based on business impact in a fast-paced environment.
