BioTalent are partnered with a global pharmaceutical leader based in the Walloon Region, to support the hire of a DSP Lead Scientist within their Biologics MS&T department.

This role will offer you

You will be responsible for
- You will support the design and design of the MSAT laboratory, managing all downstream activities within this facility and providing expertise on biologics downstream processing.
- You will lead and mentor your direct reports to support their personal development and progression with ongoing projects, ensuring adequate training in scientific and HSE processes.
- You will create and review documentation such as experimental plans and SOPs, supporting regulatory submissions, technology transfers and manufacturing quality documentation.
- You will lead process optimisation studies, build company procedures for scale-down models, and ensure quality standards are met throughout.

You will bring the following:

- Industrial experience within a downstream processing environment working with biologics or biopharmaceuticals, with an established foundation of expertise in the area.
- Experience supporting and leading junior team members alongside your hands on experience.
