We are looking for a claims & insurance specialist to work from our headquarters in Ghent.

Your responsibilities:

- Handling and coordinating claims from start to finish.
- Maintaining contact with insurers, experts and customers.
- Checking and assessing policy conditions and coverage.
- Preparing claim files and reports.
- Monitoring lead times and ensuring timely settlement.
- Advising internal departments on insurance issues.

In combination with:

- Claiming compensation from third parties.
- Monitoring and managing file costs.

- Experience in claims handling and insurance processes.
- Accurate and solution-oriented
- Strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
- Assertive and service-oriented mindset for customer contact and consultation with insurers.
- Able to manage files independently.
- Familiar with insurance conditions and legal aspects.
- Knowledge of transport legislation is a plus.
