Sensolus is an industrial Internet of Things (IoT) company that tracks non-powered assets such as trailers, containers, etc. through an end-to-end solution, helping companies make better, data-driven business decisions. The Belgian scale-up was founded in 2013 by four IoT enthusiasts and already employs 35 people. It is active in various industries, ranging from aerospace, automotive and logistics to industrial manufacturing and the waste industry.
As a **content marketeer**, you are responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that educates the market on the benefits and value of Industrial IoT and positions Sensolus as a market leader, which ultimately generates demand for our solution offering.
Your starting point to bring a clear and appealing message is to understand the ins and outs of a complex solution (hardware, software and services) while also being familiar with the pains and needs of our target audience. You are a creative copywriter who approaches marketing strategically, while you also love to create a great content piece.
**What can you expect?**
- You develop and manage a content strategy that supports our business objectives. You translate this strategy into an editorial calendar that keeps track of all marketing initiatives and deliverables.
- You understand our target audience in the relevant industries and their challenges. You know how our solution helps to tackle these challenges and creates value for their business. You translate this knowledge into content that resonates with our audience.
- You create and edit compelling content for various marketing communication tools (social media, website, PR, newsroom, blog, ad campaigns, newsletters, etc) and make them available on the appropriate channels, including our website.
- You take initiative to re-use existing content to maximize return and keep all existing content up-to-date.
- You bring ideas to the table for thought leadership initiatives, desk research, surveys and execute them.
- You manage product communication and launch campaigns (creative concept, research, photo/video shoot, copy,...) and you work with internal and external resources to have all required deliverables ready on time in full.
- You manage our social media channels: coming up with relevant content, posting news, encouraging coworkers to leverage their network, interacting with our audience on our different channels.
- You analyze and report on the performance of thought leadership initiatives and social media, propose and implement improvement actions.
- You stay up-to-date with relevant marketing activities, try out new ideas and evaluate them.
**What do we expect?**
- A Masters degree in English
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting and editing, messaging and positioning related to market and corporate communication, including writing for web, creating and editing pages in WordPress and SEO
- You are well-versed in content marketing and value messaging
- You are a creative person and you can sell your ideas to your stakeholders
- You are organized and a skilled project manager who delivers against promise
- You have an inquisitive mind and can take initiative to build a network, guide research etc.
- You have an outgoing personality and you get things done
- You have experience writing for B2B in a technology environment
