Role Purpose:
- The Director of Compliance is in charge of protecting the reputation of the company internally and externally by ensuring a strong work ethics and integrity program is fully developed and successfully implemented in the organization- This role designs compliance plans, educate and train the management and organization on compliance matters, update knowledge on recent regulatory changes and response in case of government investigations- You will take the lead in the investigations, ensuring that any potential compliance raised or identified are properly investigated, and that necessary actions are taken place
**Responsibilities**:
- Strategy: Design, develop a global Ethics and Integrity compliance strategy for the organisation- Process: Ensuring and verifying that all ethics and integrity programs have been developed, documented, implemented, and communicated- People Management: Create and maintain a good work climate, stimulate empowerment, engagement, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, employee well-being and continuous improvement- Continuous Improvement: Provide regular review on the progress made, issues identified- External Compliance: Constantly tracking, examining new government regulations, and developing internal policies to help the organization comply with them- Project Management: Manage ad hoc Compliance projects as requested
About you:
- At minimum a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in disciplines such as Economics, Law, Accounting, or Finance. Master degree is preferred- Professional certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is a plus- Significant compliance experience in leadership roles ideally in listed companies- English - proficient verbal & writing
