The Data Quality Management team is at the **core of KBC’s data-driven strategy**. The team supports KBC in its transformation to a future-proof, bionic organisation where automated IT processes further consolidate the abilities of our staff members and the centralised focus on our clients. We work with all KBC Group entities—six banks and five insurers—to produce more than 4,500 reports. We process hundreds of data streams, execute technical and functional checks, perform calculations and deliver reports to management and regulators. They need to be drafted efficiently with all details perfectly correct. **What do we expect from you?**: - You **capture the needs of your business stakeholders** while in conversation with them. In collaboration with the system architects, you **translate these needs into a suitable, high-level IT solution**. You research the various possible solutions and delve into their feasibility in areas such as scope, budget, time-to-market and of course, whether they’re able to be executed in our IT landscape. - You **present your business case to the business owners and stakeholders**. Thanks to your clear explanations, it’s easy for them to make decisions and buy in on the chosen solution. All aspects of this process run smoothly because you have worked out a solution that is simple, efficient, takes risks and security into consideration, and of course, meets every client need. - You **support product managers and product owners** in translating the project (epic) into features. This way, the team (an agile release train) can go straight to work. During the implementation, you encourage them to come to you with any questions they may have. - You **visualise processes** in such a way that they are clear to everyone. You document processes and how to go from ‘as is’ to ‘to be’. - You **build up a professional network **within the KBC Group. Among others, you include highly professional and reliable data stewards. - You’re always up to date with other business cases, trends, process changes and roadmaps within KBC. You keep an eye out for possible opportunities for developing synergies, constantly asking yourself whether you see links and connections. **Your key strengths?**: - You have **at least one year of experience as an analyst** in a financial environment. Alternatively, you may have a firm technical background in IT architecture and/or an affinity with the business demands of others, developed through experience and studies related to computer sciences, IT or business informatica. Any experience you have in data management or working in a Finance, Risk or Treasury department is a plus. - You have the **analytic skills and the motivational drive to make our business and IT processes your own**. You always see the big picture as well as the relevant details. - You have experience working with **agile methods**. We use the Scaled Agile Framework, by the way. - You love taking** initiative **and thrive on **responsibility**. You’re a genuine professional who pursues only the very best result.
