When you start at Ordina’s Supply Chain Optimization unit, your first client could be a big international company in the pharmaceutical sector where you make sure the production process runs smoothly so medicines reach patients without interruptions. Or you make sure trucks are filled to the maximum capacity, thus minimizing ecological impact. Or you make sure a paramedic follows the optimal route to his patients' houses so he can be home in time to take care of his own family.
**Where you're going to get started**:
At Ordina’s supply chain optimization unit, we help our clients to handle relevant complex planning puzzles. We support them from the very beginning of the process by analyzing their problems. Then we build a planning solution based on their needs, roll it out to the users and train them, and provide customer care, updates, and new releases. They know they can count on us, and we have a loyal client base.
We are a team of 60 consultants spread over Belgium and The Netherlands. We are in full expansion because of the increasing demands of our customers.
As a trainee, you will first follow intensive training to learn the basics of the tools we use and to further develop your consultancy skills. After this, you will be assigned to a project where you will work under the guidance of experienced consultants and a project manager. They will become your respected colleagues in the years to come and even your friends. Over the years, you will develop your own domain of ability based on project experiences, continuous training, workshops, skills, interest and personal goals. What will be your specialty?
**This is you**:
You describe yourself as analytical, curious, determined to solve problems, client-friendly and a team player. You do not mind gathering extra knowledge and getting certified in different tools.
- You recently completed a master's degree with a focus on mathematics
- You have a basis in an Object-Oriented Programming language or are willing to learn this
- You have a basis in databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle or are willing to learn this
- You have a first experience in a project or thesis with optimization, statistics, big data, or Artificial Intelligence
