Want to join us? We are looking for a full-time Finance and Operations Director:
**The role**
As our new Finance and Operations Director, you are a proactive and diligent problem-solver, with the ability to “zoom in” and be detail-oriented, and “zoom out” and think longer-term, building the systems of tomorrow.
You will be responsible for all Finance and Operations within ALI-Consultancy and report directly to the Managing Director. Together with our small global team, you will identify the needs from the team, our community of facilitators, and our clients and translate that into updated processes and systems.
You have good emotional intelligence (EI) and can communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
You are eager to work with our global client base and pool of coaches. Because of our lean team, you are comfortable with context switching and jumping into new problems with ease. You will be able to balance internal support for the organisation and its employees and associates with the demands of clients.
**Responsibilities**
**Strategic**
- Work closely with the Managing Director to contribute and actively participate in the strategic thinking of the business.
- Together with the head of Business Development, upgrade, co-create and implement a system to streamline internal pipeline and project management.
- Together with the Managing Director, co-create and implement future-ready operations processes to facilitate coach and facilitator management, including their training, remuneration and communication needs.
- Create an engaging experience for our clients and our global pool of coaches when they interact for Operational / Finance purposes.
**Operational**
- **Financial management**:
- Develop annual budget with the support of the Managing Director
- Manage invoicing and collections for clients with support of Finance Officer
- Issue and discuss with the Managing Director quarterly and annual financial analysis
- Manage relationship and review financial statements with our accounting partner Sleek
- **Internal Operations management**:
- Manage and upgrade our operations overview with all ongoing project information
- Further automate and upgrade our project management system to a SaaS solution
- **Strategic Collaboration**:
- Participate in weekly meetings with Managing Director and Leadership team to discuss and align on goals and business priorities
- Analyse financial data to proactively identify opportunities for business growth
- Identify and address internal gaps in process to create efficiencies
- **Contracting**:
- Draft, review, negotiate and close contracts for new clients and projects
- Monitor contract risks and be point of contact for all contract issues
- Monitor and revise our standard contracts and processes on a regular basis
- Issue, update, and ensure signed employee and consultant agreements
- **Governance and Policy**:
- Ensure governance compliance with Singapore legal requirements
- Develop and monitor internal policies (e.g. Code of Conduct, vacation policy etc)
**Tactical**
- Hire and train an Operations and Finance Officer to support the day-to-day execution of the function.
- Lead and manage a team of 2 or 3 finance and operations officers
- Ensure compliance with data protection requirements for clients
- Coordinate insurances, especially all liability insurances
