The Property Coordinator will be responsible for the daily operations and management of our +/- 40 active assets and +/- 300 hectare plots of lands in Belgium. The aim is to maximize the usablility of our assets, to create asset value and revenue. He/she will also be our facility manager for our headquarter (Mutli Building) in Brussel.
**Responsibilities**:
Property Management
- Ensure that our property portfolio remains in perfect condition
- Identify and manage opportunities for advertisement on unused properties, the maintenance, renovation, refurbishment, construction or development of property assets
- Manage and monitor property suppliers contracts
- Monitoring our tenants (entry/exit)
- Manage and process payments of rent, service charges, invoices,utilities, etc.
- Manage claims
- Regular, well-maintained contacts between tenants and suppliers
- Internal SPOC for all related questions about property and facility management.
Facility Management (Headquarter Multi Building)
- Develop and manage the facility budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships
- Monitor and process all issues related to the building like leakes, blockages, reparation, )
- Act as first point of contact for tenants, employees,within the facility
**Skills**:
- You have between 1 and 5 years of experience in a property/facility department
- You want to get involved as if the project were your own
- You have a proven track record in the sector (an estate agent's diploma would be a plus)
- You have good organisational skills, are independent and not afraid to take the initiative
- You have good negotiating skills and good interpersonal skills (ability to adapt to the person you are dealing with)
- You have good communication skills (in French, Dutch and English)
- You are comfortable with figures and have a good command of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience in managing building-related issues is an asset
