Your role
- As a member of the Risk & Compliance Team, you will be in charge of the compliance aspects (conflicts of interest, KYC/AML, DAC6, market abuse, GDPR, international sanctions, etc.) in the opening of matters for our clients. You will perform initial and ongoing AML and risk assessments on clients and counterparties. You will assist the lawyers and their assistants in gathering and analysing KYC documents and provide the firm with an in-depth analysis of potential risks. You are responsible for the daily follow-up of these obligations and will maintain internal procedures and tools in line with applicable laws and regulations.

You hold at least a bachelor degree in legal practice (or equivalent by experience), and knowledge of AML/KYC legislation and/or other compliance topics is considered as an advantage.

- You have strong analytical and organisation skills
- You are proactive and solution-oriented
- You have strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English, which allows you to lead trainings on a variety of topics
- You are able to work autonomously as well as in team
