Senior IT Program Manager

**Responsibilities**:
The Strategic Accounts Practice (SAS) within Proximus NXT IT stands as the largest and most vital division for the success of our entity.

For a sub-practice of the Strategic & Mission Critical Services, we are looking for a highly experienced IT Program Manager to lead and manage the complex IT projects within the public safety sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Program Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and public safety customers’ requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment in order to deliver projects and program(s) On Time, On Budget and On Scope (OTOBOS)
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including public safety officials, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful program outcomes.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, including budget, personnel, billability and technology, to ensure program success.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT programs, ensuring continuity and security of public safety operations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations, policies and PXS NXT IT procedures.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on program progress, challenges, achievements and projects/program P&L’s.

Profile

Education: Master degree in Project and Program management, Computer Science or Civil Engineering in IT.

Certifications: PMI and Prince2
Languages: Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French

Professional experience:

- At least 15 years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 5 years in a senior role within the public safety sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in PMI methodologies, including:

- Project Integration Management: Ability to coordinate all aspects of a project, ensuring that project goals are met
- Scope Management: Proficiency in defining and controlling what is included in the project.
- Time Management: Expertise in developing and managing project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Cost Management: Skills in budgeting and controlling project costs.
- Quality Management: Ensuring that project deliverables meet the required standards.
- Human Resource Management: Effective team leadership and resource allocation.
- Communications Management: Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Risk Management: Identifying, analysing, and responding to project risks.
- Vendor/partner Management: Managing vendor/partner procurement processes and vendor/partner relationships.
- Stakeholder Management: Engaging and managing stakeholder expectations and involvement.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of public safety operations and the unique challenges and requirements of IT systems in this environment.
