Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Tax Accountant (temporary) that performs the various accounting activities around taxes and reports.
You collect and prepare the necessary information regarding the taxes account, and you are the first point of contact for questions from Tax managers within your domains. You provide input into the development of procedures, practices, systems, and work instructions. Not only that, but you play an active role in the month-end/year-end closing process.
**Who are we looking for?**
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a financial, fiscal or economic orientation; potentially with a supplementary degree in fiscal matters;
- You can rely on 2- 4 years' experience working for a Big 4 firm and/or within the finance/tax department of a multinational company:
- You have an interest in and knowledge of taxes, such as corporate income taxes, transfer pricing and VAT;
- You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and a general affinity with IT systems:
- You are fluent in Dutch and English:
**Your day-to-day**:
- Calculate tax provision for the monthly reporting, determine CIT advance payments, prepare corporate income tax returns and withholding tax returns;
- Prepare supporting information for Local and Master File (prepared in coordination with outside provider);
- Identify and implement tax compliance process improvements;
- Communicate and follow-up tax compliance requirements with the Accounting Team;
- Work with the Accounting Team to obtain financial data in the required format;
- Cooperate closely with the US tax team for completion of tax packages and tax memo's (year-end provision, DCW filing and tax return filing);
- Stay up to date on tax related legislative and regulatory developments that may affect the company in the complete EMEAI region;
- Assist the Tax Manager in ad-hoc permanent establishment requirements, other research and analysis;
- Review quarterly and annual VAT filings (prepared by Accounting Team);
- Direct report to Tax Manager.
