**General Job Function**:
This Manager role provides leadership for operations support activities and processes for OMS across all ELA locations and platforms including:
- Project Management - process adherence, capability, and project performance improvements
- Project Controls & Sox Compliance
- Equipment maintenance - process and implementation, optimization of operations
- Training coordination - technical and administrative including site - access related
- Improvements and transformation efforts across OMS including STEP UP initiative’s coordination
Success in this role requires proactive and influential leadership across a regional/global business with strong focus on collaboration, change and leveraging a growth mindset. Responsibilities include ELA wide reporting from the OMS teams/functions for training, equipment maintenance and project controls.
The role can be based in
**France, Germany, Spain or Sweden.**
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Drive the above-mentioned operation support functions and processes to performance levels meeting the OPS BU and OMS business and transformational goals and objectives. Develop and implement standardization, changes, and improvements to achieve improved productivity, effectiveness, cost and efficiency across ELA OMS.
- Lead and spearhead the improvement of project management and project performance across ELA OMS in close collaboration with EPMO and other OPS BU project functions. Ensure in alignment with the platforms Directors that project managers are appropriately assigned and qualified. Represent ELA OMS in global project management leadership councils and initiatives. Provide leadership for the project controls function for ELA OMS and ensure that project controls capabilities are effectively and efficiently supporting the project execution.
- Spearhead development and implementation of cost and performance improvements to Equipment Maintenance & Product Life cycle cost processes resulting in an optimized operating cost structure.
- Lead the operational training process and functions to ensure resources with adequate skills and training are cost effectively deployed to projects and to customer sites.
- Attract, motivate and develop high performing leaders and teams.
- Implement Westinghouse standards and code of conduct.
**Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies**:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent with related experience.
- Master’s in engineering- 5+ years of management experience
5+ years of field service operation or equivalent operational experience- Multi-disciplined business and operations leader
- Upper middle mgmt. with regional/global influence and multicultural team and people leadership
- Business mindset with strong growth orientation and financial acumen
- Ability to lead developing and implementing plans across a large organization to improve and standardize operations
- Strong communication, teamwork and change management skills
English language fluency (written and spoken) + any additional European languages (French, German, Spanish or Swedish)
