We are looking for an experienced Helpdesk Support Technician to join our Zaventem office on a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will join Hologic and provide helpdesk support services to our employees, supporting managers where necessary and collaborating with business leaders. You are the first point of contact for all employee queries working within our processes and procedures. You will be looked upon to provide solutions to technology challenges as well as educate end users on utilizing available tools to perform their tasks more efficiently.
What to expect:
- IT phone support (On rotating basis)
- Computer imaging and troubleshooting
- New employee IT inductions
- Technical advice and guidance for Hologic employees
- Hardware procurement, inventory, disposal support
- VIP/Executive support
- Assist with managing standard process/procedures
- Work directly with vendors on installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance
- IT Helpdesk ticket response and closure
- On call - out of regular business hours. on a rota basis
- Maintain knowledge on current and new systems through self-development
- Have a flexible approach to work patterns with the immediate What we expect:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in IT Help Desk support role
- Windows 10 experience and/or Windows 11 experience
- Apple OS support experience is desirable but not essential
- Microsoft Office / Office 365 administration experience
- Mobile Device support experience (iOS preferred)
- Laptop and printer hardware knowledge required
- Basic knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting client wi-fi issues
- Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange experience
- Desktop support tools experience
- Ability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve PC/Network problems quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills, telephone support skills, and interpersonal skills with colleagues and our users
- ServiceNow experience is desirable but not essential
