To strengthen our team in Groot Bijgaarden, we are looking for:
**R&D Data Analyst**

**Your Mission**

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Group Upstream Research and Development department.

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to support R&D strategy and decision making. You will help designing and implementing specific data solutions for R&D within Puratos Group. You will also work closely with external partners and identify new opportunities for collaboration to stay up-to-date with the latest progress in the field.

**What you will do?**
- Collaborate with researchers and product developers to inform and steer decision-making and strategy
- Analyze business processes and translate business needs into technical IT requirements
- Support international roll-out of digital solutions/tools
- Collect and integrate data from various laboratory trials and (existing) databases
- Clean and process data using statistical software and programming languages such as Python
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and relationships
- Provide data analytics insights
- Train Puratos R&D community on data analysis techniques and develop a data-driven culture
- Contribute to further building our data ecosystem: work with universities, academics, and startups and identify new opportunities for collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with developments in data analysis techniques and technologies, screen and explore new ideas with potential business value.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science, or mathematics
- Min 3 years work experience; knowledge in food science, agronomy or biology is a plus
- Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as Python
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud and SAP is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Team spirit to work in cross-functional teams
