For Puratos Headquarters, located at Groot-Bijgaarden, we are looking for a **Global Product Manager** in order to achieve the ambitious business targets for our plant based solutions: Specialty fats and whippable toppings. You will actively participate to the definition and global implementation of the strategy of the Business Unit. You will work side by side with your R&D counterparts, the local teams and the technical advisor community. You will be responsible for the product strategy and portfolio of the plant-based category, with a strong focus on key innovations.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- You build and implement the **product strategy** aligned with Markets/ Channels/ Operations, in order to determine optimal competitive positioning to reach short and long term business objectives.
- You manage the **product portfolio** (profitability optimization, pricing, SKU management, benchmarking) and all elements of the **marketing mix** (branding, pricing, route to market, promotions ).
- You develop sales and product **communication** support tools in line with the Group communication strategy
- You actively support **business development** (markets, channels, customers) by customer visits, customer presentations, training, exchange of best practices.
- You monitor the **sales performance** in terms of volume, margin evolution, customer penetration.... You propose, agree and roll-out corrective actions or acceleration plans with local organizations and regional direction.
- In close collaboration with the R&D team, you manage the **Innovation & Renovation** pipeline, following Stage & Gate process to create future differentiation.
- You collect, analyse and build **market intelligence** from a wide range of data sources and identify possible impacts on the business.
- You **manage** relationships and partnerships with internal and external **stakeholders** to share the product vision, create involvement at different organizational levels

**Who are we looking for?**
- You have a Business or Marketing degree with 5 years of relevant experience in product management, marketing, communication,
- You are curious, data driven, digital savvy and inspired by the understanding of local consumer culture’s diversity in food. You understand the evolution of consumption
- You show strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time and work under pressure and to deadlines.
- You play to win, you are fanatically customer centered and determined to continuously improve everything we do, daring to challenge boundaries to deliver superior value in products & services, and meaningful innovations.
- You have a passion for food and you aim to understand the technical issues of their creation. Therefore ready to have a common language with R&D, technical advisors and Operations.
- You are fluently in English (written/spoken). Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
- You are willing to travel 25% of your time.
