**Product Manager Bakery (m/w/d)**

**Your Mission**

For our Puratos Belux team, located at Groot-Bijgaarden, we are looking for a **Product Manager **for product category **Bakery** in order to achieve the ambitious business targets. As a passionate ambassador for Bakery products you are responsible, supported by your team, for managing the product life cycle and product portfolio, supporting the product related business development, leading the product innovation/renovation.

**What you will do**
- You are responsible for the **development and implementation** of the marketing activities foreseen for our branded breads: product launches, promotions, communication plan (off
- and online), POS material,
- You will have the opportunity to develop and implement the **strategy** for the product category Bakery and specific strategic/international innovations:

- Definition and implementation of the yearly marketing plan in line with the Belux strategy.
- Timely and qualitative implementation of the approved plan within agreed budget.
- Evaluation of the impact of implemented initiatives and recommendation for future optimization.
- Based on consumer, customer, market and competitor intelligence.
- Adapted to different line of business: artisan / bakery chain / semi-industry / industry / foodservice
- You will manage the **product portfolio Bakery and the product life cycle**
- Follow, analyze and manage the different products in terms of volumes, sales and margin evolution. Propose, agree and roll-out corrective actions or acceleration plans.
- Define the Innovation/Renovation strategy and implement by leading cross functional project teams (R&D, Marketing,).
- Manage the product portfolio taking into account the product life cycle.
- Manage the brand of the assigned category

**What we expect from you**
- You have with preference an academic degree: Master in Economics/Marketing/Business Engineering or Bachelor marketing
- You have a first work experience (mínimum 3 years) in brand/product management in a food-related environment
- You manage the MS Office package
- It would be nice if you have experience with Photoshop
- You are a strong team player with good communication skills
- You have experience with project management
- As we are a fast-changing environment you have to be stress resilient
- You will frequently present so excellent presenting skills are necessary
- Languages: Dutch, French, English
