- Uitvoeren van nationale en internationale onderzoeksprojecten onder leiding van de R&D manager of een collega onderzoeker
- Creatief ontwikkelen van nieuwe technologieën en beproevingsmethoden
- Aansturen en technische ondersteuning van de laboranten in de projectuitvoering
- Het analyseren, interpreteren van proefresultaten en het definiëren van vervolgacties
- Opvolging van de technologische ontwikkelingen in de sector en uitbouwen van nieuwe onderzoeksprojecten in het onderzoeksdomein
- Deelname aan acties voor verspreiding en valorisatie van onderzoeksresultaten
