Functional Analyst

We do so by providing them the most easy to use, self-learning, community-driven, and highly automated accounting software. **What you will be doing** As a Functional Analyst, your role encompasses several key responsibilities. Firstly, you will collaborate with developers to efficiently and accurately develop new functionalities. This involves understanding and mapping the needs and expectations of users, such as entrepreneurs and accountants. You will actively participate in organising workshops with stakeholders and users, documenting and refining functional requirements in alignment with business analysis, and collaborating with the development team to enhance user stories. To summarise, your responsibility is to map the requirements of the users to the capabilities of the Product. Additionally, you will monitor developments and conduct functional tests based on user stories and test scenarios. Lastly, you will also be partly responsible for helping out our software partners with integration questions (SOAP and REST). This involves providing information about which web services they can use and debug possible issues they experience. **Your key tasks** - Provide daily support to developers by addressing business domain-related queries pertaining to features or bugs they are working on. - Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to delve deeper into features, assess the viability of ideas proposed by Product Owners, and validate their effectiveness. - Assist the Product Owner in creating a clear backlog that aligns with the development team's requirements. - Manual test cases for the Quality Assurance (QA) process, allowing you to perform tests. - Test case scenarios for the Product Owner to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on behalf of the users. - Ensure the involvement of the Product Owner when encountering significant issues or urgent matters that surpass initial expectations. - Translate technical release notes into business-friendly language. - Share knowledge within the organisation's teams, promoting knowledge transfer through training, workshops, Confluence, and other suitable means. - Support integration partners with SOAP web services related questions and requests **What you will bring to the team** - Desirable experience with Yuki suite of products or other Accountancy, CRM or billing systems. - Desirable experience in business analysis. - Desirable experience in functional testing. - QA experience - SOAP webservice and REST API’s and tools such as Postman - Experience in UX studies and design is a plus. **What we offer** - A full-time contract and competitive compensation package - A training budget that kicks-in after the first half-year, sooner can be discussed - Flexibility in remote-working, Hybrid working is supported - Working in a scale up company that is part the international brand Visma - Loads of opportunities for personal and professional growth - Plenty of company events focussed on socialising, gaining knowledge and/or sports - A diverse, international team based in our offices in Rotterdam, Antwerp and Barcelona - working in an informal, professional and fun work environment - Creative and stimulating work environment at our office in the heart of Antwerp nearby "Het Eilandje" (with an awesome view over "De Schelde") **How the process will look like**: - VideoCall from our Talent Acquisition Team. - First Online Interview with one of our Product Owner - Last interview with Product Owner Manager and HR Manager. - Make you our Job Offer.
