For our Western Region (Belgium, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland) within our Corporate IT & Digitalization department we are searching for an **Information Security Coordinator.**
In today’s world, it is crucial to understand, identify and mitigate cyber risks early on.

In your role you are coordinating the implementation of global and local information security measures, processes and projects according to business needs and in line with the standards from Corporate IT & Digitalization department.
- Work directly with the local organizations to identify upcoming threats and evaluate and mitigate risks with regards to information security and data privacy.
- Collaborate with the central functions and contribute to development of the enterprise security program.
- Make sure that IT standards, policies, procedures and tools are properly rolled out and implemented in the region.
- Ensure that periodic assessments are performed to determine security and privacy maturity levels in the region.
- Direct and guide implementation of data privacy requirements in line with GDPR requirements in the region.
- Ensure that processes are in place to detect and to timely respond to cyber incidents in all local organizations.
- Define Business Continuity requirements for regional Business Processes and establish recovery plans for critical regional or local IT infrastructure
- Promote awareness about information security & privacy, be an advocate for the organization’s information security & privacy needs and communicate continuously to the employees as well as to the management in the region
- Realize synergies and streamline the regional IT security and data privacy organization
- Jouw profiel
- Cyber security expertise and at least 3 years’ experience in IT security or risk management.
- Experience with IT security architecture and solutions as well as state of the art security technologies.
- Experience in performing security & privacy compliance activities (performing assessments, identifying corrective measures, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience with information security (such as ISO 2700X group, NIST, COBIT 5, etc.) and familiarity with data protection and privacy requirements (based on legislation such as GDPR / GDPR UK / ePrivacy, etc. and on decisions of relevant EU courts and data protection organizations) along with best practices and how to implement these.
- Certifications in Information Security/ IT security/Privacy (ISO 27001 Auditor / ISO 27001 Implementer / CISM CISSP/CISA/ CIPP/CIPM/CDPSE/CIPT etc.) are an advantage.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- High level of personal integrity.
- Energetic, engaging and collaborative personality.
- Excellent communication skills to explain security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Willingness to travel (20-30%).
